Cited in Scopus: 0A woman in her 80s presented to the emergency department with a 4-month history of “tongue swelling,” mild drooling, difficulty in swallowing, and slurred speech that worsened during 1 day. Asymmetric lingual angioedema predominantly of the right side of the tongue secondary to lisinopril was suspected. The patient was treated with diphenhydramine, dexamethasone, famotidine, and tranexamic acid, then admitted to the hospital for observation. Lisinopril was discontinued after 4 years of treatment.
