- PreviewStem cell therapies have been an active focus of research for several decades, with nearly 1200 clinical trials completed to date in the United States alone and many more across the globe. However, this monumental clinical effort has yielded only a limited number of therapeutic solutions approved for use, underscoring the nascent nature of the regenerative medicine space. What has been established is an increased understanding of what stem cell therapy can deliver to the recipient tissue to foster healing.
