Diabetes Complicating Pregnancy: The Joslin Clinic Method

This publication is a concise, yet relatively complete, description and guide to the management of the pregnant patient with diabetes and her offspring. Although the title seems to imply an approach unique to the Joslin Clinic, the strategies described and the data presented have a much broader origin. The text advocates a standard of care to which most medical centers that provide care for pregnant patients with diabetes aspire. Anyone who is responsible for the care of such patients will find this book both interesting and instructive.
